East Jakarta Mayor: We Must Keep Working During Covid-19 Pandemic

Although the conditions are still critical, they must continue to work in their respective fields

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, encouraged his residents to continuously work amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The city's anniversary theme is Jakarta Bangkit. This means we have to rise from the conditions we are facing now," he asserted, after he attended in the virtual city's 494th anniversary ceremony, Tuesday (6/22).

He also reminded them to be disciplined in implementing health protocols and continue to conduct positive activities such as coaching, training and economic recovery.

Even he was optimistic that they could adjust to the situation to continue to work, create and innovate in their respective fields.

"Although the conditions are still critical, they must continue to work in their respective fields. We can adapt to the situation. Coaching can be done virtually," he stated.
